Terms of Service

These terms explain the practical rules for using BriefBasket, including accounts, private client links, uploaded content, subscriptions, and responsible use.

PrivacyTermsRefunds
01

Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, subscribing, or using BriefBasket, you agree to these Terms. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and must provide accurate account information. BriefBasket is operated under the ITworks business name.

02

What BriefBasket provides

BriefBasket helps businesses create request lists, share private project links, and collect files, answers, and links from clients. It is an organisational and file-collection tool. We do not guarantee that a client will respond, that submitted content is accurate, or that a project will be completed by a particular date.

03

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your email account, Google account, sign-in links, and BriefBasket sessions secure and for activity performed through your account. Contact support@briefbasket.com promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

04

Private client links

You are responsible for deciding who receives each private project link. Anyone with the link may be able to view the request list and submit content without creating an account. You must not publish a private link openly, and you should tell us if a link may have reached an unintended person.

05

Your content and client submissions

You and your clients keep ownership of the files, answers, links, names, and other content submitted to BriefBasket. You give us the limited permission needed to host, copy, process, display, and deliver that content only to operate and protect the service.

You are responsible for having permission to request, upload, store, and use the content associated with your projects. You should keep your own copies of important files and final project materials.

06

Sensitive information

BriefBasket is not designed as a specialist system for medical records, payment-card details, account passwords, government secrets, or other highly sensitive regulated information. Do not request or upload that information unless you have independently confirmed that your use is lawful and that the service's safeguards are appropriate for it.

07

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed at the price, currency, and interval shown at checkout. Paddle processes paid purchases as merchant of record and may send payment, renewal, tax, and cancellation communications. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to purchases made through Paddle.

You may cancel through the billing tools made available in your account, the management link in your Paddle receipt, or Paddle Buyer Support. Cancellation stops future renewal after it takes effect but does not automatically refund an earlier payment. Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply.

08

Acceptable use

You may not use BriefBasket to collect or distribute unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or harmful material; upload malware; send spam; violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights; probe or bypass security; gain unauthorised access; overload the service; or help another person do any of those things. We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or comply with law.

09

Service availability and changes

We work to keep BriefBasket available, secure, and useful, but uninterrupted operation and permanent storage are not guaranteed. We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of material changes that negatively affect paid use.

10

Our service and intellectual property

BriefBasket's software, branding, interface, documentation, and original materials belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a limited right to use the service while your account is active; they do not transfer ownership of the service or allow you to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse it.

11

Suspension and account closure

You may stop using BriefBasket at any time. We may suspend or close access for a material or repeated breach, unlawful activity, security risk, non-payment, or where required by law. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix the problem. Data deletion remains subject to reasonable backup, billing, security, and legal retention needs.

12

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BriefBasket is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated here. We are not responsible for indirect losses, lost opportunities, client delays, content supplied by users or clients, or losses caused by sharing a private link with the wrong person. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service develops. The updated date will appear at the top of this page, and material changes will be communicated where reasonably required. Questions, billing requests, and complaints can be sent to support@briefbasket.com.
